Mary founded "You Can Dance Studios Inc." in 1992. She has taught American and International style Ballroom, Mambo, Salsa, Swing, Hustle, and Merengue in the Toronto area for over 15 years. As a Professional dancer, Accredited Teacher, Director & Choreographer, Mary has been dancing, teaching, and performing for over twenty five years. She has been trained in many styles of partnership dance. Her portfolio includes American and International style Ballroom, Latin, (Mambo, Salsa, and Merengue), Nightclub, as well as Cabaret.
With her diverse dance background Mary incorporates many of her dance skills and techniques into her teaching programs concentrating on connectivity through lead and follow... "The more you understand about movement and partnering the better a dancer you can become...."
In her early career Mary has trained with some of North America's leading teachers and performers such as William Barker, (Fred Astaire School), and Mitzi Reubenstein, (Fred Astaire School). She has also trained under Peter Billett, (A former Professional World Black Pool Championship finalist, U.S. National Championships Finalist, and current president, examiner, and world adjudicator/judge with the USISTD).
Over her career Mary has won gold medals for competitions in both the professional and amateur world of dance.

and the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, (U.S.I.S.T.D.)
Mary is also a registered Dancesport competitive coach for both amateur and professional dancers in the ballroom world.
Candice Krowiak

Candice teaches our Social and Competitive Ballroom and Latin Programs. Beginning her training in both the Jazz and Ballroom styles of dance Candice has melded the best of both worlds into her teaching methods. Incorporating technique and partnering skills for the competitive dance floor and Stage performances she utilizes the creative styling and polishing of the Ballroom and Latin styles to enable her students to retain their movements and personal technique dancing solo and with a partner. She inspires the students of You Can Dance Studios to find their true dance passion no matter the style or level.
Chantal Drolet

Chantal Drolet is a graduate of the National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program and holds Associate levels from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTA) in the Cecchetti method and in National Dance. Beginning her training in Quebec, her passion for ballet took her through successful performances and examinations. Leveraging 20 years of training and experience, an enthusiastic and detailed approach to teaching, she focuses on creating a positive and rewarding learning environment for her students
